Lamp Specification
The image shown does not look like the lamp for the AEG 506D-D/GB cooker hood (the fitting I have is for a standard-type fluo lamp - a lamp holder at each end). Can you confirm that either the image is incorrect or if there are more than one type of lamp for this model?

Don't worry - this lamp will definitely fit your AEG 506D-D/GB cooker hood. I've checked it in our systems and it will just slot in to the lamp holder.
